Medical English for Doctors — Specialist Communication

For work in Poland and abroad. For GMC, PLAB and real clinical communication.

Taught by qualified native-speaking instructors with clinical and emergency medicine experience.

At Redline, we train senior doctors, consultants and specialist teams who must communicate clearly in English — on the ward, in SOR / ER, with international patients and during handovers.

How we teach:

Every course is tailored to your specialisation and your hospital. We use real clinical cases, authentic hospital communication, and your own materials — not generic textbooks.

We focus on what matters in your daily work:

  • Precise history-taking and handover in English
  • Clear communication in ER / ICU / ward rounds
  • Discussing diagnosis, treatment and prognosis with patients and families
  • Writing accurate clinical notes, referrals and discharge summaries
  • Presenting cases at conferences and MDT meetings

Preparation for the UK and international work:

We prepare doctors for GMC registration, PLAB, OET Medicine and for work in English-speaking hospitals — including the language verification now required by the GMC for EU doctors.

All courses include a free level test and needs analysis, all materials on our e-learning platform, and a Redline certificate with CEFR level and programme.
